My husband and I had a great time here! It was very peaceful and private. Great space for a couple’s trip.

Exactly as pictured! Beautiful, clean, comfortable and had every amenity we needed for a weekend getaway with our 10 month old. Would stay again!

Wow! What a beautiful A-Frame tucked away in the Hocking Hills! Brand new and beautiful inside and out. The host was VERY helpful and we'll definitely be going back to his location! We had lunch at Millstone BBQ in town which is only 7 miles away from the A-Frame. Once we were settled in we found the Buckeye Trail which is very close and secluded, not busy, and has all the beauty of the Hocking Hill State Park! When we returned we sat out on both patios and had a beautiful view. With the full kitchen we were able to cook dinner and the place even has a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and fire pit. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Fox Ridge-Black Alder.

We loved this place, very cozy! It was just as beautiful as the pictures showed and very clean. Very private and scenic but also close to all the trails and sights. It seemed like everything we wanted to do was only 15 minutes away that includes all the walking trails and restaurants.

We enjoyed a lovely stay! It was as described, beautiful, blissful, and very clean. Also in a peaceful setting which is what we were looking for during this stay. Michelle was responsive and helpful with providing details, resources, and recommendations. Thankful for the smiles.

Positive: New, clean, modern cabin with lots of windows and outdoor space

We had a great 2 night stay at Michelle’s Air BNB. The residence was spotless, and well stocked with necessaries for our stay. The pics of the property do not do it justice. Beautifully wooded and peaceful. We used the bonfire out both nights. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again as a family of three. Side note, I have a 4x4 dodge ram, and was able to make it up the driveway fine. Would definitely recommend a 4 wheel or all wheel vehicle.

A private, beautifully, quiet cottage, one of the best short-term vacation stays. Very well equipped and very detailed instructions provided by the owners. The location is secluded but can be easily found according to the owner's instructions, although you do need a car with some passability. The house was very clean and the various amenities did not show much sign of use. It was a very pleasant trip and I recommend this vacation cottage.

DO NOT BOOK IF YOU DON’T HAVE A 4WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE!!!! Positive: It was definitely a cute and cozy cabin! Negative: Bugs were everywhere: dead and alive.. but beside them.. the cabin is on top of a ROCK HILL!!! It’s super inconvenient if you have luggage and a NOT a 4wheel drive vehicle to make it up the hill. We had to carry all of our luggage and babies up a rocky hill. It was the biggest inconvenience by far.

Did a short weekend trip and stayed at Fox Ridge. It was dreamy and beautiful—so peaceful. Wish I could have stayed longer! Michelle gave great recommendations for food and activities. 10/10 would stay here again! Thank you!!

Perfect setting for our engagement. Wow is all I can say and I have travelled a lot. We both love the outdoors and nature so yes…the perfect home away from home. Dramatic in OHIO. I would have never guessed how magical this area would be…and Michelle’s place was icing on the cake.

Absolutely beautiful! This cabin was the perfect little getaway for our one year anniversary. Everything was as described and JUST like the photos. I regret not staying there longer. Definitely would love to come back!

This was the perfect location for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Positive: We loved the scenic and quiet setting, and the beautiful peaceful environment created by all the seating areas. The decorative flow, matching available kitchen supplies, and cleanliness topped everything off. Negative: There was a slight green tint to the water in the hot tub that was a bit concerning at first. With research, we believe it was just hard water and minerals reacting to chlorine. It was still clean and enjoyable though.

This was the perfect place for a private getaway. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It is close to everything we wanted to do while in Hocking Hills. We look forward to visiting again soon!

I believe this has to be TOP Airbnb I’ve stayed in the year. I almost don’t want to leave a review because others will read this and then book. But I guess the cat’s out of the bag. Michelle has one of the best listings ever. It was private and peaceful which is how I prefer little vacays to go. Thank you again. I will be book again soon.

This A frame cabin is really something to see and experience! It's so obvious that a great deal of time and thought went into designing this place. It's truly phenomenal! It sits in the perfect location and gives so many views and options for relaxation. It's a true memory keeper that will be cherished for years to come! We highly recommend experiencing this place and we would absolutely return to do it again!

Fox Ridge was one of the best Hocking Hills experiences we’ve ever had! Our comfort level was a 10/10. The aesthetics of Fox Ridge were and are amazing. The hill getting up was so fun in the Jeep Wrangler! Definitely make sure you have reliable tires to get up the hill! We loved how other cabins were around- it helped us not feel nervous! The hot tub and the fire pit were AWESOME! The bed was extremely comfortable! We loved, loved, LOVED filming for our social media in the cabin! Definitely will stay again!!

A great place to be in nature and close to the park. Specifically recommended for couples.

Beautiful home with everything you could need for a cozy get away, Michelle was very responsive and offered us a guide of some things to do in the area. The decks were amazing and perfect even when it was storming to relax outside and have a drink in the rain. Over all would recommend! The drive way is STEEP which was mentioned so be sure to bring the right car! I also wish on the main window at the bottom of the steps there was some sort of blinds because you can catch a glimpse of the next door cabin but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay! The A-frame house was very stunning, the surrounding nature was amazing, and everything you would ever need, they had it there for you!

Just a beautiful, well built, and well furnished house in a gorgeous surrounding. It's a bit off the beaten path, which was exactly what we were looking for. Took in the dark night sky from the Adirondack chairs out back and saw some shooting stars. Michelle, the host, was responsive and helped us out whenever we reached out to her. If you're looking for a get away for a small group in the heart of the Hocking Hills region, this has to be one of the best options out there!

We had an incredible time at the Fox Ridge this past weekend!! The setting was beautiful tucked into a special area of Hocking Hills! The A frame layout and design was great, and so were the hosts!! Thank you for creating this gem of a place in the middle of nature, loved it!!!

This home is one of the more beautiful places I have been in my life. My wife and I had a wonder stay at the Fox Ridge. There are a lot of hikes within a 15-20 minute drive that offer many beautiful views. This place is well worth the money. Just keep in mind that the listing is accurate when it speaks of needing an all wheel drive or a 4x4 vehicle to get up the driveway. It is very steep.

Very nice and comfy place. My husband, myself and our son loved everything about our stay. We traveled here for hiking Hocking Hills. Great location and short drive to all the places we enjoyed. Would absolutely stay here again when traveling to the area. Really appreciated all the extras provided, such as bathroom supplies, shampoo/conditioner, Advil, q tips, etc.. kitchen was great to cook in too. A+ getaway.

Absolutely beautiful and clean. The location is on a steep hill but we have a 4x4 so there was no concern getting up. The area felt really private and truly a peaceful place for you to relax.

This was a wonderful location for a couple's getaway. I love that it is a newer build and a modern take on a woodsy cabin. We have a Suburu Legacy and had no problem getting up the driveway. The front deck was my favorite spot watching the squirrels and reading. Hosts were perfect.

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at Fox Ridge and had such an incredible time. This cabin is an absolute dream- the aesthetics, the windows for natural lighting, the outdoor sitting areas, the coziness, the CLEANLINESS. We really loved soaking in the hot tub and playing some of the games that were provided by them. I honestly did not want to leave! I absolutely can’t recommend this beautiful cabin enough and would 110% stay here again in the future.

Absolutely perfect getaway! The setting is secluded enough to give you privacy but close enough to amenities when needed. Easy access to all the hiking and beauty of Hocking Hills. The house is awesome. Clean, fresh, well kept and cozy. We loved our stay (our Anniversary weekend) and we will definitely be back!

This was a perfect spot for myself, my husband, and our 18 month old! It worked out great for us and was a perfect distance from all the popular hikes we wanted to do on our long weekend to Hocking Hills. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was absolutely stunning. Extremely comfortable retreat deep in the heart of Hocking Hills. Central AC was a life saver in the heat of summer. Cabin was really clean and you could tell it was built with care. I will note that the driveway is extremely steep and you definitely need a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. Our 2016 Toyota mini van could t make it up, so we had to hand carry everything up. So definitely plan accordingly. The host was extremely responsive and polite! Would definitely stay here again.

Other reviews telling you 4 wheel drive is a must, take it serious! Driveway is very steep and gravel. All in all a great space for a romantic getaway! We stayed here after our wedding at Old Man’s Cave and it was the perfect honeymoon suite!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It had more amenities than we had time for an it was a great way to explore Hocking Hills.

I don’t even know where to begin! Wow! This cabin was not just your regular cabin, this was a DREAM LUXURY cabin! Michelle really outdid herself with the interior decor and design, she inspired me so much for my place! It was absolutely everything and more. Such serene place in the middle of just the woods with Gods nature, just my husband and I for his birthday basking in each others presence. We loved it so much that we literally stayed the entire day at the cabin, enjoying the jacuzzi, while my husband grilled, we made s’mores in the fire pit and played a couples game they had there and just bonded. We planned to do other things, but then just didn’t want to leave the cabin at all. The only thing we regret is not staying longer! Michelle was so helpful, friendly and responsive. She had everything that you would need and more. This stay definitely exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to book again! Don’t think about it twice I promise you will not regret it.

Such a calm and peaceful stay in Logan. A quick and easy drive to several beautiful hiking spots in Hocking Hills. Enjoyed relaxing inside the house and out, can’t beat the setting!

My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. Wanted to get away to somewhere a little remote but still close to society. This A frame had amazing view all around and was within 15 minutes of all the hikes we wanted to do. would recommend this to anyone looking to book a trip in the hocking hills area. oh the hill going up is a little steep and there's some tight roads to get there but with AWD and a little caution and it's well worth the drive.

Great location in Hocking Hills, comfortable, with wonderful porches and a hot tub. Very responsive and proactive host. The open loft bedroom has steep stairs, and the bathroom is on the first floor, so that was a minor inconvenience. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up the extremely steep gravel driveway. The location is central to all the great sights in Hocking Hills. The hot tub was wonderful after each day’s activities.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful and Cozy! Looked exactly like the photos, The host was very friendly and answered all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. This was perfect for me and my fiancés elopement!

The cabin was quiet and peaceful, everything was very clean and well maintained

This is a lovely cabin close to many hiking trails near Hocking Hills. We loved using the outdoor space- the grill, fire pit, and hot tub- which is private and well lit in the evening via string lights. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. Everything was incredibly clean and looked like the listing photos. I would definitely heed the advice to have a four wheel drive vehicle in order to make it up the gravel hill to the cabin; we didn’t have a problem but I can imagine it would be difficult without 4WD. If I had one complaint, it would be the quality of the mattress in the primary bedroom area.

Beautiful private get away with amazing views. The Aframe is close (15-20 mins) to hiking and restaurants in the Hocking hills area. Appreciated the hot tub after long day of hiking. Would definitely book again.

The cabin is even prettier in person and very private. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the multiple outdoor seating areas.
